The economic and democratic development of Serbia is central to the future prosperity and political stability of Southeast and Central Europe. Serbia has an important geo-strategic location and a strong potential for economic growth. The USAID Mission in Serbia operates under an approved five-year strategy with defined strategic objectives. All activities funded by USAID must be designed and implemented to help achieve these objectives.
