USAID’s Community Revitalization through Democratic Action program was a $200m+ activity implemented over almost six years all over Serbia, except in Belgrade. It was a citizen-driven program wherein local communities organized themselves and decided on priority development projects that they wanted to implement. Over 5,000 projects were implemented together with communities to improve infrastructure, provide better health care, improve services, start businesses and create jobs. In this photo tour, you can see just a few concrete examples of what people were able to achieve in cooperation with USAID.
